Each door displaying the MAXILAM name must adhere to all revisions and industry standards in existence as of the date of manufacture, according to MAXILAM’s warranty.

 

MAXILAM also warrants, unless otherwise noted.

Each door is made of high-quality materials, has excellent workmanship, and is free of all production flaws when it leaves Maxilam. We have an excellent quality control team that hand-inspects each door made in our factory. For new doors other than those that were sold, the maximum limited warranty is in effect. Warranty durations for particular doors, and exclusions are listed below.


The product is warranted by Maxilam for THREE YEARS from the date of shipment from Maxilam. The following are not considered flaws in workmanship or material and are not covered by these written warranties:

  1. Damage brought on by attempts to fix the door by anybody other than a Maxilam technical expert.
  2. Doors that are not finished and are not mounted in accordance with care and finishing instructions, as well as doors that are normally exposed to the sun or the rain.
  3. Failing to correctly seal the door, which needs to have all of its edges sealed within 48 hours of hanging and fitting.
  4. The door’s inherent coloring and structural variances. 4(a) Addressing warp issues may be postponed for up to a year from the date of the claim to give the door time to adjust to the local humidity and temperature levels. This deferral won’t affect the warranty period in any way.
  5. Harm resulting from erroneous handling or on-site storage. Moisture in doors caused by humidity is one type of storage damage.
  6. The effectiveness or appearance of the applied finishes is not covered.
  7. Climate-related bottom rail growth is not regarded as a defect.
  8. Neglecting routine home upkeep, such as preserving the finish.
  9. Defects or damage brought on by natural disasters and house settling.

 

ADVANCED NOTES: Whether the claim is for negligence or a breach of warranty, MAXILAM shall not be liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages or for any sum in excess of the purchase price of the defective door. If the door cannot be repaired, it will be replaced, but Maxilam shall not be liable for the installation or completion of the replacement door or door components.

SUBMISSION OF A CLAIM: If the door is shown to be faulty or does not adhere to our stated warranty, the customer should contact the business via phone or send an email with the subject “complaint” to MAXILAMDOORS@GMAIL.COM.
